One of our biggest challenges prior to implementing the Sirius e solution was the amount of time it took to create and complete a contract from start to finish as there was an enormous amount of cross-referencing we had to do in order to ensure order accuracy. In addition to that, we had the added stress of having to track our rental contracts manually which put us at increased risk for lost items and revenue. When our business really took off and started to expand, we knew that we had reached a point in time where we would have to look at a viable option that would help us to save both time and money, as well as reduce the potential for losses. We had an increase in fleet and the value of our equipment was quite substantial. Prior to the implementation of the Sirius e platform, we were being faced with issues that were reducing our productivity and ability to accurately track inventory and reservations and possibly affecting our profit as well.
The two biggest attributes about the software, for us, would be the ability to efficiently manage and control inventory and transfer in between branches therefore greatly reducing the risk for loss, and both the accuracy and simplicity of the reporting system.
My favourite feature within the software simply because it has greatly increased the response time to my vendors, would be the consignment report. It provides complete, concise and updated information which is easily accessible. In addition to this, the Purchase Order process is great! I love the ease of entering and receiving orders all in a couple of clicks!
