One of our biggest challenges prior to implementing the Sirius e solution was the amount of time it took to create and complete a contract from start to finish as there was an enormous amount of cross-referencing we had to do in order to ensure order accuracy. In addition to that, we had the added stress of having to track our rental contracts manually which put us at increased risk for lost items and revenue. When our business really took off and started to expand, we knew that we had reached a point in time where we would have to look at a viable option that would help us to save both time and money, as well as reduce the potential for losses. We had an increase in fleet and the value of our equipment was quite substantial. Prior to the implementation of the Sirius e platform, we were being faced with issues that were reducing our productivity and ability to accurately track inventory and reservations and possibly affecting our profit as well.
The two biggest attributes about the software, for us, would be the ability to efficiently manage and control inventory and transfer in between branches therefore greatly reducing the risk for loss, and both the accuracy and simplicity of the reporting system.
My favourite feature within the software simply because it has greatly increased the response time to my vendors, would be the consignment report. It provides complete, concise and updated information which is easily accessible. In addition to this, the Purchase Order process is great! I love the ease of entering and receiving orders all in a couple of clicks!

Implementation was practical, fast and efficient. The technical training is excellent, all our doubts and questions were clarified and answered to our satisfaction. The entire system was installed remotely in a single day and the response times of the Support Department have been excellent. With this software we have improved our response times, streamlined the administrative process and it definitely helped us make the process of construction equipment rental efficient and effective. It substantially reduced the workload of the Department of Revenue, by dramatically streamlining billing tasks and subsequent recovery. We have received excellent feedback from our customers since Sirius was implemented. Prior to billing the monthly closing took an average of 1 to 2 weeks. After finishing the month with Sirius we carry billing out exactly the last day of each month, thus achieving better performance in the subsequent accounting period. Our fleet of rental equipment is now in good condition thanks to the Preventive Maintenance module. I highly recommend Sirius software, it is an excellent and cost-effective solution. Practical, rapid implementation, with effective training and excellent technical support, constantly updating and especially at a very reasonable price.

I am happy to share my thoughts about Sirius Pro and the benefit it is providing to Protec Equipment Resources. As you know, our previous software that was used for inventory management was a self-developed program that had value in many ways, but was nowhere near as comprehensive as Sirius Pro. Previously, we would need to pull data from spreadsheets and manually massage it to get useful information out of it. We now can do it within the software itself. The ability to calculate depreciation and an accurate inventory value, net ROI at an item code level or at a specific serialized asset level will pay off huge for us! This allows us to better determine what the best units are for us to add to our fleet.
